Channeled Lessons in Psychic Development 8: Natalie’s Technique for Crossing Over Earth-bound Spirits

As a developing medium who strives to work in sustainable, ethical and disciplined ways, I try to keep myself open to spirit contact only through specific intent. However, once in a while, usually due to low energy or a hasty process, things don’t quite go as planned, and I’ll notice an unexpected guest in my home, requesting attention. (My cat will notice, too!) Before being officially trained, while relatively rare occurrences, these situations could sometimes turn a bit unpleasant, and I would be stuck feeling anxious or uneasy, not knowing what to do. Luckily, my guides have taught me a highly expedient way of dealing with these kinds of encounters, which works out for the best of all involved.

Rather than using some of the more complicated methods employed by some traditional, Spiritualist mediums to cross over earth-bound spirits, in which the spirit is interviewed, assuaged of its fears and persuaded to move into the light, Natalie encourages dealing with such entities as quickly, lovingly and efficiently as possible, without prolonging engagement. Discussing the specifics of the entity’s identity, past, and possible emotional baggage, has the potential to be counterproductive by weighing them down further with attention to and from the earthly plane. In Natalie’s alternative technique, you side-step all that, and simply raise your vibration as high as you can, in order to allow the entities to “piggy-back” off of that energy into the light, with the help of your guides, protectors and Source. Here is the process, step by step. You can fine-tune it as necessary to fit your particular belief system, of course. It's the emotional vibration that really counts.

1. Direct your heart and mind to Source, God, the Eternal Light, The Great Spirit…whatever name you use for a higher power. Fill your heart with unconditional love, excitement, trust and gratitude at the prospect of returning the soul home. Working this emotion to its strongest pitch is extremely important. Trust completely that Heaven will welcome the spirit home. Feel the happiness and relief the spirit will feel! Get excited! As you do this, envision yourself, your energy field, and your surroundings engulfed in a golden light, full of that energy of love, excitement and gratitude. (This renders your energy and that of your space incompatible with lower vibration entities.)

2. Envision a door opening to Heaven. Invite the entity to this door, and call on all of your angels, guides and protectors to escort the spirit through the door. Hold the emotional vibration of love, gratitude, excitement and relief. Thank God for returning the spirit home. 

3. Hold this vision and emotional vibration until you mentally see the spirit walk through the door, escorted by your guides and angels. Do not stop the process until you are thoroughly sure you are in as high an emotional vibration as you can muster. When you are ready, close the door behind them. Thank God again, and say any prayers you are moved to say. (I like to pray for the enlightenment of all beings.) 

This technique has been extremely effective for me, and is also quite lovely to experience. That is not to say that other methods can’t work - praying hard enough, even when you are terrified, can work, too, in a pinch - but this is an especially powerful technique because it engages the spirit world directly through the language of energy, as opposed mental constructs that can tether spirits to the physical world. If, however, you try this technique, and still find yourself with uninvited guests, as discussed in the last lesson, do not over-extend your capabilities, but turn to a specialist.
