Channeled Lessons in Psychic Development 9: On Efficiently Bypassing Fearful Attachment During Channeling
Today, I want to share a quick lesson about efficiently channeling answers to questions that come loaded with feelings of hope or fear, however subtle. The technique I shared previously about calibrating your channel (Lesson 5) is a good way to build greater accuracy in your readings. However, on a nitty-gritty level, Natalie has shared an important tip with me on strengthening your connection to your spirit guides, that is similar to taking the time to prepare for your psychic work sessions with unrushed meditation (Lesson 3). This is to not allow the energy of your particular concerns and questions, or the emotions attached to them, a chance to interfere with the vibration of love, trust and excitement that is built up in the preparation process. How do you do this? You simply side-step the question with a bit of planning ahead!
At one point during my recent channeling sessions, I noticed that even when I had come to a session with particular topics in mind, as soon as the connection was established, Natalie or Salvador would launch into long responses to questions that hadn’t even been asked yet, often from a broader perspective than I had in mind. When I prodded Natalie about why this was happening, she explained to me that any attention given to my ego-based questions would, at least somewhat, water down the high vibration needed to sustain the clearest possible connection to my guides. Any inkling of fear or uncertainty was a compromise. (It’s kind of similar to why her technique for crossing over stuck spirits, i.e. Lesson 8, doesn’t involve engaging with them any more than necessary - your vibration is your currency in these interactions, and you need to reach as high as you can.) By drawing my focus straight to the guides’ higher perspective, they were helping me to maintain the high vibration acheived during my opening meditations and prayers throughout the session. After their first responses, I could then go back and hone in on areas that needed more clarification, as their answers had already assuaged some of my lower-vibration emotions.
So, here is the important tip: As soon as you find yourself with a dilemma or situation you know you will want to consult about with your guides, quiet your mind, call on them internally or verbally (if appropriate), and tell them this is an issue you will want to talk about later. Describe it briefly, and focus on the feeling you are having about it as you do so. I also do this when I first establish that I will be working with a particular client. It’s kind of like taking an energetic photograph of a thought or a person: “Hey, Guides, this is what we are going to be working on next, OK? Please get a head start. Thanks!” You might hear them acknowledge your mental note, or not, but just trust that they have heard you and will be ready to answer you when you go into your session. Then, let go, and focus on other things, trusting that their answer is currently being “incubated.” You might want to wait until the next day to channel about it. Then, as soon as you establish the connection, see if your guides come ready with a detailed response. You might be surprised! If you feel you haven’t quite gotten all the information you need, you can always ask follow-up questions.
All this being said, not every question you encounter requires an incubation time. With clairaudient dictation in particular, one can often receive detailed answers on a dime. However, if you find your connection faltering in more heavy-duty sessions, this can be a great technique to make your work flow more efficiently.
Try this technique and see how it works for you. I would love to hear your experiences!
