Channeled Lessons in Psychic Development 10, PT. 2: On The Importance of Taking Joy In Communication

As I was going through my latest raw channeling information today, in which, among other things, my guides encouraged me in my plans to open up to my social circle more publicly about my mediumistic work (Hooray for coming out of the broom closet!), I noticed that Natalie had followed up on the last channeled lesson I posted, about energizing the channel of communication (Lesson 10). As I had been concerned about the temporary lull in my clairaudient abilities, Natalie not only reiterated the instruction to send out the energy of desiring to communicate to spirit, but emphasized the importance of taking joy in that communication. Joy, in general, as well as gratitude, excitement, and trust are what lay the foundations for channeling, through raising our energy to a higher vibration. Natalie reminded me of the tangible difference these emotions make in our psychic receptivity, and that it facilitates the connection not just for us, but for our guides. (The opposite is also true: fear, doubt, bitterness, jealousy and hatred cloud our psychic senses, making us harder to reach.) It’s a simple concept, but a helpful one. In connection with this, she also made a lovely point about healing emotional wounds that drag us down: Concentrate on the hope at hand, not on the struggle to heal, itself.

Without further ado, here is what she said to me:

“Now, soon, your clairaudience will get better. Concentrate on the joy it brings you. Send out the desire to communicate and be inspired - this will clear up your reception. (…) The more joyful you are, the better you’ll develop. It also helps the guides tune into your energy more easily. Your accuracy will improve the happier you are. As you open up your heart, you open up to spirit, too. As you align yourself with your higher self, thus knowing yourself better, you will also know others more truthfully. Your gifts of understanding and receiving will develop further. When you are happy, your capacity to focus also deepens. Any feelings of trouble and fear open you up to interference. Remember, it’s less important to be preoccupied with trying to overcome a difficult situation than to simply focus on positive emotions. Turn your attention to those things which bring you hope.”

Do you notice a change in your psychic receptivity when you feel joyful? Do you have any special tips to elevate your mood and let go of negative feelings when you work with Spirit?
