Salvador Responds to My Question About Determining The Correct Recipient of A Mediumistic Message

A few days ago, I posted a piece on this blog called “Getting The Wires Crossed - A Potential Pitfall to Look Out for in Mediumistic Group Settings.” In it, I described a challenge I have been facing as a student of evidential mediumship between people and their departed loved ones, and have not yet figured out how to overcome: Not always being able to tell whether a message is meant for myself, or for someone else. Well, on October 2nd, during my channeling session, I asked my guides to weigh in on this, and here is what Salvador had to say. (This message is translated from shorthand.)

“The issue you are experiencing is a symptom of being in the early, albeit successful, stages of developing your mediumship. You will get better at this with time. The answer is to practice with sincere dedication, not be afraid to make some lucky guesses, and allow yourself to strengthen your skills through repetition. 

Remember to give thanks for the wonderful blessings you receive through your mediumistic work, and practice discipline in guiding your consciousness to these exchanges with Spirit. 

Pay attention to all the instructions you receive from us, and act on them. Regarding this challenge, we advise you to ease into the mediumistic state by being sure to take enough time to prepare through meditation, as this allows your spiritual intelligence to fire up properly, and bring the previously unknown things that Spirit communicates, into your awareness. When you follow this protocol, you can be confident in your mediumship, and let go of any doubts. Follow this suggestion with integrity, deepening your concentration, and the gifts that we bring through our communications will be received easily enough.”
